Salary: £30,000 to £40,000

The company specialises in senior-level searches across technology and industrial markets. The search arm is small but they are part of a much larger group which includes an engineering recruitment agency, an engineering consultancy and a research and development team. Based in London and they are looking for experienced recruitment consultants or search consultants interested in joining their team.

Responsibilities: 

• Building and managing a permanent and/or interim consulting desk
• Networking to identify new business opportunities
• Formulating and managing international searches, specifically working on mid-career to senior level opportunities (Director through to C-suite) across a range of functions
• Ensuring each assignment is delivered in time and to client expectation
• Developing new business and managing key customer relationships
• Regular communication with customers via all relevant methods (F2F meetings included)

Must Have:

• At least 12+ months of recruitment experience (ideally, in automotive, transportation, industrial, heavy equipment, technology or life sciences)
• Proven track record in both delivery and new business development
• Ability to effectively communicate with C-level executives
• Fluency in English (reading, writing and speaking)

Nice to Have: 

• Knowledge and understanding of the retained search model
• Fluency in any other language
• Experience in performing international searches

What’s on offer and the USPS’s of the company:

• Basic salary up to £40,000 for consultants (different package on offer for partners/directors)
• No threshold commission scheme from 10% to 30%
• Bonuses at the end of the year and Christmas

• The average retainer is £40,000 but fees have exceeded and been capped at £120,000 before
• Unrivalled OTE – bill £200,000 and you’ll take home around £90,000
